Interested in costuming for community and charity? New members are always accepted. Please follow the list below for a list of costuming resources and application information for Star Wars Catalunya.
If you own a Rebel, Republic, Imperial, or other costume from the Star Wars saga and would like to enlist, just follow the steps below.
1. Qualifying for membership
- You should be at least 18 years old. We cannot accept minors as members.
- You should own a professional-grade Star Wars costume. Costumes can be Rebel Alliance, Dark Side, the Empire, Sith, Old or New Republic, Jedi Order, the Naboo, First Order, Resistance, Smugglers, Creatures, Droids and any other characters from Star Wars.
2. Costume pictures
When you applicate for membership, you are required to include at least four pictures per costume (front, back and both sides). The pictures must be of you wearing your costume. You may send your pictures via email to email@example.com or if you preffer you can publish on our forum. Cast members would guide you for needed modifications or give you the ok!
Membership Photo Guidelines
- Take your picture against a plain background in a well-lit area.
- Make sure you are close to a wall if you use a flash
- Make sure most of your costume is visible. Maybe we will need additional photos to make sure you have a complete costume.
- Take several photos and choose the best one.
3. Membership Application
To create an account, begin by registering in our forums. Immediately after submitting your application you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your login information. Once you have this e-mail you can login at the forum and start posting. You will not be able to access members-only features until your membership is approved. Once your forum account has been created, click on “VOLS SER MEMBRE?,” where you can post your photos and costume information.
Please make sure you’ve followed the photo guidelines for the picture you’ve uploaded, or have included other photos that display the entire costume in the additional pictures area.
When your costume is aproved we will send you a membership application form. Fill it and send to us via email or snail mail.

4. Wait for approval
You should receive a response within two weeks of submitting your application. If you do not hear from anyone after two weeks, please e-mail us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once your membership is approved you will receive an e-mail confirmation welcoming you to the club. Included in this message will be some information about the anual cuota and the Star Wars Catalunya Charter that all new members must read, as it defines what we do and how we do it.
If you are not approved for membership, you will receive an e-mail explaining why. We are more than happy to discuss our decision and we are always willing to help you get the materials and resources you need to make your costume acceptable for membership.
When someone’s application is denied you will still be able to login and post on the forums. If you choose to re-apply, you will need to fill out the application again since we will no longer have your application on file.
5. Have fun!
Members will be able to let you know about events so you can get out there. It’s best to regularly check forum and Events Calendar. Get out there and introduce yourself to your fellow members and have fun!
